September 11, 2001

Date: September 11, 2016

On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, the world watched in horror as the events of this day unfolded in New York City, Washington, and Pennsylvania. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost that day, including 405 Firefighters, Police Officers and Paramedics that had rushed to the area of the World Trade Centre. If it were not for the bravery of all first responders on this day, countless more lives would have been lost.

Today, we are once again reminded of the dangers that all first responders face every day and we mourn those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the service of public.

Yours truly,

President Rob Jamieson & the Board of Directors
Ontario Provincial Police Association
