Provincial Constable William Barber, Provincial Constable Andrew Sloss and Provincial Constable Marty Thibault received the province’s highest honour in recognition of actions that demonstrate outstanding courage.

"Our province’s first responders are ready to put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities and keep Ontario safe. These awards recognize the extraordinary acts of courage within our firefighting and law enforcement communities. I salute these heroes on behalf of a grateful province, and hope that they wear these medals with pride," said Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services David Orazietti.

President Jamieson, the Board of Directors and all members of the OPP Association congratulate our three members and all recipients of these prestigious awards.
