I wish to drop a note and let you folks know what an outstanding job you are doing as part of our service and protection industry. As a health care professional who has daily contact with the members of the opp, primarily through the regional sexual assault and domestic viloence program I am continually surprised by your level of professionalism and compassion. Although no longer a member of the team I would specifically like to commend Officer(I'm sure his title has changed) Mark Loader of the London-St. Thomas detachment. He is an exemplarary member of the force and only hope he will remain in our area and continue to be a positive influence in the community.
I am a Police Officer in Upstate New York USA. I enjoyed loooking over your site. I have relatives in Ompah/Perth area and visit 2-3 times per year. Good Bless and Stay Safe!
I would like to get the attention of all OPP retirees. I recently made a presentation at #1 District Meeting requesting that a Retiree be appointed to each branch executive so we could have some say into matters that relate to us. I've been retiired since 1985 and an OPPA member since 1954 (one of the first). Would the retirees back me up when they attend their next meeting of the OPPA. The best to you all and a Great Day and A Better Tomorrow.

Great to see your web site. I am a Canadian living in Southern Calif. For the past 3 yrs. I grew up in Cobourg, Ontario and my late uncle - Lyle Erskine was an Inspector with the OPP and retired from the Peterborough detachment. I always respected the job that the OPP officers have done. I worked for Corrections Ontario for a number of years and know the type of people that police officers of all areas sometimes have to face. All best wishes.
Excellent site. Has anyone knowledge of a Roger Bevan, ex Somerset and Bath Police who left UK in 70's for Canada and joined OPP. He was stationed at Weston super Mare Traffic Department prior to leaving.
Today, upon reading the news paper and watching the news on television, i was proud ... To all the men and women out there, good job and work carefully.
Hello, I am an OPP recruit, tentatively scheduled to attend OPC in April. I am looking to get in touch with soon-to-be, serving or retired members of the force who have LL.B. degrees. I graduated from Queen's Law not too long ago, and I am interested in hearing from officers who have combined their interest in policing with their educational back- grounds. Thanks, Mike
